Welcome to THE CORE. My name is Joe Zahm and I am a husband, a father of three, a businessman, and a singer-songwriter-producer.

I'm also an American citizen and am deeply concerned that my country is at a critical juncture. I've therefore created THE CORE as a digital platform to release relevant content that inspires and engages thought and action, and helps keep us centered against the divisive pull toward the fringes that increasingly threaten our democracy.

Our new landscape insists that citizens become more activist shareholders to ensure that our values are represented. THE CORE is a new foundation for that community. THE CORE stands for "Strengthening American Values," an idea that's grown from the music videos I've lately been moved to produce, as an American, to address hot-button issues. We're starting with assault weapon safety in schools for our first video, "Enough Is Enough," and we're generating compelling support content - essays, photos, guest blogs and much more - for this and all subsequent issues we tackle.
