Parkland teen talks gun control at SCSU
NEW HAVEN - David Hogg, a Parkland, Fla., teen who became a gun control activist after his high school was the scene of a mass shooting Feb. 14 and who helped mobilize a national movement of young people advocating for gun control, spoke at Southern Connecticut State University's John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts Tuesday night to talk about gun violence and policy goals he believes will change the future.
It's been 10 months since 17 people were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, prompting yet another national debate about gun control and motivating Hogg and survivors of the mass shooting to take action.
